What we do, and how each discipline is actually delivered.

Nine disciplines under one point of responsibility, for residential, commercial and industrial clients. Every job is scoped before it is priced.

Plumbing

Installation, repairs and maintenance

Complete water reticulation and drainage work across residential, commercial and industrial installations. We install, repair and maintain hot and cold water systems, waste and soil drainage, geysers, pumps and sanitaryware, working in copper, galvanised steel, PVC and PEX.

Leak detection is treated as diagnostic work, not replacement work. Pressure testing and tracing establish where a system is actually failing before any pipework is opened up.

Scope

  • Hot and cold water reticulation, new installations and extensions
  • Geyser installation, replacement, valves and thermostats
  • Waste, soil and stormwater drainage systems
  • Leak detection, tracing and burst pipe repair
  • Blocked drain clearing and drain maintenance
  • Sanitaryware, taps, mixers, valves and cisterns
  • Pressure testing and system commissioning

Welding & metalwork

Fabrication and on-site repair

Fabrication and on-site repair welding in mild steel and stainless. We manufacture, install and repair structural and architectural metalwork, from security installations and balustrades to brackets, frames and support structures for plant and equipment.

Fabricated work is cut, aligned, welded, dressed and finished, then prepared and coated for the environment it will stand in. Steel fabricated well and coated badly fails at the coating.

Scope

  • Structural and general steel fabrication
  • On-site repair welding and reinforcement
  • Gates, burglar bars, palisade fencing and balustrades
  • Frames, brackets, racking and equipment support structures
  • Cutting, grinding, dressing and finishing
  • Surface preparation and protective coating
  • Mild steel and stainless steel work

Electrical

Installation and maintenance

Installation, alteration and maintenance of electrical reticulation in domestic, commercial and industrial premises. Distribution boards, circuits, lighting, socket outlets, isolators and fixed equipment connections, together with fault finding on existing installations.

Industrial work extends to control panels, motor connections, starters and contactors. Fault finding is carried out by measurement rather than by replacement: the component that failed is rarely the reason it failed.

Scope

  • Distribution boards, circuit installation and rewiring
  • Lighting installation, replacement and upgrades
  • Socket outlets, isolators and fixed appliance connections
  • Fault finding, testing and repair on existing installations
  • Industrial control panels, motor connections and starters
  • Standby and backup power connections
  • Maintenance of existing electrical installations

Painting

Interior, exterior and protective coatings

Decorative and protective coating for interior, exterior, roof and structural steel surfaces. Includes preparation, crack repair, sealing, priming and finishing, with spray application available on steelwork and large surface areas.

Preparation carries the same weight as the finish coat. Coating failure is almost always a preparation failure: a good product over a poor substrate fails on schedule.

Scope

  • Interior wall, ceiling and trim finishes
  • Exterior and weather-exposed surfaces
  • Roof coating and protective membranes
  • Structural steel and industrial protective coatings
  • Crack repair, filling, sealing and priming
  • Spray, roller and brush application
  • Colour matching and specification advice

Building repairs & renovations

Structural and cosmetic works

Repairs to existing building fabric and full renovation of residential, office and industrial space. Brickwork, plaster, screed, tiling, ceilings, partitioning, doors, windows, roofing and waterproofing, from a single defect through to a complete refurbishment.

Renovation on occupied premises is sequenced so the client keeps functioning. Areas are isolated, dust and access controlled, and work staged so a business or household is not shut down for the duration of the contract.

Scope

  • Brickwork, plastering, screeding and tiling
  • Ceilings, bulkheads, cornices and partitioning
  • Door and window supply, fitting and repair
  • Roof repair, sheeting, gutters and downpipes
  • Waterproofing and damp remediation
  • Kitchen, bathroom and office refurbishment
  • Snagging and defect rectification

General property maintenance

Reactive and scheduled upkeep

Ongoing upkeep of a single property or a full portfolio. Minor repairs, fittings, hardware, ironmongery, common areas and grounds: the accumulated small work that decides whether a building presents well and holds its value.

A single point of contact across trades means the client is not sourcing, comparing and coordinating separate contractors for jobs individually too small to tender.

Scope

  • Reactive and scheduled minor repairs
  • Doors, locks, hinges, ironmongery and fittings
  • Common areas, entrances and ablution facilities
  • Grounds, paving, fencing and external areas
  • Fault reporting and job-card record keeping
  • Callout response for tenants and facility managers
  • Handover and vacancy make-good works

Preventative maintenance

Planned inspection and servicing

Scheduled inspection and servicing that catches failures before they become breakdowns. Air conditioning servicing, motor and pump maintenance, electrical inspection, plumbing checks and building fabric inspection, carried out to a fixed programme rather than on callout.

Reactive maintenance is the most expensive way to own a building. A planned programme converts unpredictable emergency spend into a budgeted line item and extends the working life of installed plant.

Scope

  • Air conditioning servicing, cleaning and filter replacement
  • Motor, pump and rotating equipment servicing
  • Distribution board and electrical installation inspection
  • Plumbing, drainage and water system checks
  • Roof, gutter and building fabric inspection
  • Scheduled programmes with written condition reporting
  • Asset condition assessment and maintenance planning

Installation & repair services

Fixed equipment and plant

Supply, installation, commissioning and repair of fixed equipment and plant: air conditioning, pumps, motors, extraction and mechanical equipment, including the relocation and re-commissioning of existing units.

Where repair is viable it is offered against replacement with the cost difference set out plainly, so the client decides on the economics rather than on the contractor's preference.

Scope

  • Air conditioning supply, installation and repair
  • Pump and motor installation and overhaul
  • Mechanical equipment installation and commissioning
  • Equipment relocation and re-commissioning
  • Breakdown response and on-site diagnosis
  • Repair-versus-replace assessment
  • Spares sourcing and replacement

Packaging line equipment

Maintenance, fault finding and operator training

  • Shrink wrappers
  • Tray packers
  • Palletisers

We provide professional maintenance, fault finding and operator training for shrink wrappers, tray packers and palletising equipment. Our work keeps packaging equipment running efficiently, reduces downtime, and improves operator confidence on the machines they run every shift.

A packaging line rarely fails without warning. It drifts: settings creep, wear accumulates, reject rates climb, and the breakdown is simply the point at which the drift becomes impossible to ignore.

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance

Scheduled servicing to a fixed programme, and repair when something has already failed.

  • Fault finding and troubleshooting

Diagnosis by measurement and observation, so the cause is found rather than the symptom replaced.

  • Equipment setup and optimisation

Settings, changeovers and pack-size adjustment so the line runs at its rated output.

  • Operator and maintenance training

So the line is run correctly on every shift and minor faults are cleared without a callout.

  • Breakdown support

Response when a line has stopped and production is standing.

  • Performance and reliability improvement

Reducing rejects, stoppages and cycle losses across the line.
